Did anyone else know Detroit Red Wing Sergei Fedorov’s brother plays in the NHL? Right now, he plays for the Canucks, but the 21-year-old Fedor Fedorov was signed by Tampa bay in 1999, going 182nd overall. They couldn’t decide on a contract, so Vancouver drafted him in 2001, 66th overall. An eye injury slowed him down for a while, but now it looks like Fedor is going to be a real force for the Canucks. In fact, he just had another strong game last week, with a goal against Phoenix.
The Canucks also have Mighty Duck Paul Kariya’s brother, Steve. Sadly, for him anyway, Steve was sent down to the AHL Friday. I bet this Kariya brothers fan is sad, too.
