So the NHL is entering into some kind of partnership with Lego. I have nothing against partnerships, but Lego? Hockey is a fast game played on ice. Legos can’t move. It’s just the wrong toy for the NHL.
Of course Commissioner Gary Bettman feels differently:
- This is a partnership that makes sense. There are many similarities between our two brands and as a threshold manner, we both enjoy a worldwide following and resonate with millions of young people around the world.
What’s a threshold manner anyway? Does Bettman ever make sense?
Legos would work for baseball, though. Everyone just stands around in baseball.
