Lord Byron Storms Atlanta

So it looks like Byron Dafoe will be in the net for Atlanta, as I predicted yesterday (see below). It makes sense, though. The Rangers really couldn’t afford him (their corporate owners are shedding properties like crazy) and the Islanders are going to try to ride Chris Osgood out until young Rick DiPietro is finally seasoned enough for the NHL. I also had a clue the Isles would stick with Osgood when I got this e-mail from them:

It might be awkward for a club to have a fired goalie making personal appearances.
