First Buffalo blanked the Ducks. Then they killed the Rangers. Then they dropped the Caps. Go ahead and read that again. Buffalo has put together a three-game winning streak. Obviously this is a temporary situation since at its heart, the Sabres are just a bad team. But it’s nice to see them having some luck. Especially since it’s the last bit of good luck they might see for a while. Current Sabre and NHL Player of the Week Miroslav Satan is rumored to be on the trading block. Florida, the other team in just about every trade rumor, is supposedly interested.
Speaking of loss, the Sabres might lose Satan, but forward Jochen Hecht definitely lost part of his ear to a puck. Ouch. Good luck with that.
