More Like a Snowball Than an Avalanche

Joe Sakic scored his 500th goal against the Canucks. Too bad his Avs continue to struggle this season. Horrible on the penalty kill. Awful on the power play. And not even so hot at even strength. With all that talent, it’s very surprising to see Colorado so average. I’d love to see Colorado go younger. They have so many functioning veterans that could really work well with the kids. Kind of like when the Wings stick Brett Hull with rookies.
