It’s a great deal for New Jersey. Not so great for Pittsburgh. I don’t see how Pittsburgh will ever be any kind of competitive team if they can’t afford to keep any good players. It’s almost a waste of time for them to even exist. Let’s be honest: Mario Lemieux can’t play forever. He’s only got, at most, another 20 or 30 years in him.
