Draft Dodgers

The Florida Panthers may not win games, but they win where it counts — the draft. The Florida Panthers won the first pick in this year’s draft (for the second year in a row). The Panthers got Jay Bouwmeester last draft and he was all ready to go, right out of the draft. No seasoning neccessary. And this year’s draft is supposed to be insanely good. Carolina got the second pick and Pittsburgh got the third, although they’ll probably sell that to somebody. They might not even sell it to an NHL team. The Flyers have the 11th pick from Phoenix, which is really nice for them. They’re already a strong team. They’ll have youth and veterans. It’ll be like the Michael Douglas-Catherine Zeta-Jones wedding.
Thanks! Good night!
