Do you remember those Folgers commercials where they switched the fresh-brewed coffee with Folgers Crystals? Well maybe it’s time to bring back those commercials with the Edmonton Oilers. In the current The Hockey News, former Islander Denis Potvin talks about how during the Islander-Oiler Cup final of 1984, Edmonton sent decaf to the dressing room between periods, telling the Isles they were drinking regular coffee. Of course, unlike the Folgers commercials, no hidden cameras were involved. As far as we know, anyway.
I wonder if Dallas is testing their free coffee, though.
