Havlat Could Bolt; Cujo’s Ankle Hurt

Senator Martin Havlat is hard core. If he doesn’t get a deal from Ottawa, he’s going to play in the Czech Republic.
Havlat made $675,000 last season. He wants a lot more this season. And of course, Ottawa is all about not paying the big salaries. So this will be an interesting situation to watch.
Oh. And just so I don’t have to start another entry, Steve Simmons from the Toronto Sun is patting himself on the back for breaking the story that Cujo had something going on with his ankle.
The Sun had said Cujo would be out for four to five months. It’ll be more like six to seven weeks. Keeping that in mind, Simmons says Cujo played the second half of last year on a sore ankle.
