Saturday night I scrolled through the games to see what was going on around the league. I saw Detroit up 3-0 on Nashville in the third and decided against even tuning in the game. It seemed pointless.
Yeah. Sure. Nashville fought back with four goals to beat Detroit 4-3.
Curtis Joseph was in for the still-injured Dominik Hasek.
So now, the Wings have $16 million worth of starting goalies, and they still can’t seem to hold a lead.
Some reasons for Detroit’s lack of focus?
In today’s Post, Larry Brooks reports that the tension between Joseph and Hasek has spread around the Wings’ locker room like a disease. Apparently you’re now either in the Joseph camp or the Hasek camp. But never both.
That can’t be good.
