Jennifer Jones of the Chicago Sun-Times has a great column blasting the Blackhawks for their mishandling of their goaltending situation. Goalie Jocelyn Thibault, who never had a proper backup in the first place, went down back in November, and the Hawks never really replaced him. They just threw two rookies into the fire and never really tried to find a more capable replacement.
Thibault is said to be coming back next month. He skated with his equipment on Sunday but still can’t drop into the butterfly. I’m sure he’s really anxious to return to the Chicago train wreck.
