Sather Steps Down

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. Glen Sather stepped down as coach of the Rangers.
Not to blow my own horn, but here’s what I said about that last week:

There’s only one fix now. Sather must go. Ideally, James Dolan, president and CEO of Cablevision, would fire his friend Sather. Realistically, he could strongly suggest Sather step down as coach and concentrate on his GM duties. But something must be done, because watching the Rangers play has become like watching a diseased animal writhe around in pain. Like a chicken flu in a hen house, this disease has spread across the roster, from the stars to the few role players. The only vaccine would seem to be new leadership.

For those of you keeping track at home, I’ve been right about something twice this calendar year. I forget what the other thing was.
