As someone who sat through a season and a half of watching Alex Kovalev rot in New York, I’m both surprised and disappointed by his two goal outburst in game three of the Montreal-Boston series.
Surprised that he may have finally regained his scoring touch, but kind of pissed that it couldn’t have happened in New York. That man didn’t give anyone anything to watch when he was a Ranger. It was just brutal every time he touched the puck.
The Habs beat the Bruins 3-2 and are still down two games to one in the series.
Oh. And the gritty Darren Langdon is still in the Montreal line-up. He was in a whopping three minutes and 14 seconds. I’m pretty sure Langdon’s only purpose is to annoy the Montreal media.
