Boo! Scary NHL

I love this pre-lockout atmosphere.
This is usually a time of year for optimism and hope. Instead, owners and GMs are scared of what the future holds for the NHL.
Alex Kovalev’s agent says caution (a healthy symptom of fear) is the main reason Kovalev can’t get signed anywhere.
I’m guessing his horrible season in New York and Montreal might also be a factor.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette says that the Penguins might be interested in a discounted Kovalev, though. It’s not a bad idea. Kovalev is like some kind of weird superhero. He can only play with a penguin on his chest.
