Too Roenick for Comfort

Here’s my NHL sitcom idea of the week. It’s based on Jeremy Roenick mentoring Sharks youngsters Devin Setoguchi and Torrey Mitchell, inviting them to his home and keeping them fed. But wait. There’s a problem with both of their immigration papers. How can they play in California then? No worries. Roenick and his wife will just adopt them!
And comedy will ensue?
Of course.
How come? Because U.S. immigration is constantly visiting to make sure this isn’t a sham immigration adoption. So Roenick has to actually parent his teammates.
At some point, they all might adopt a pig that’s always knocking things over. I haven’t really worked out the details. I’m thinking I want Erik Estrada in there in some kind of neighbor role, though.
