A big thanks to Jim Kelley for saying what a lot of people have been thinking: New Jersey Devil Patrik Elias probably has something more than a cold going on. Kelley's big beef is that it makes Elias look bad, but that implies anyone believes for a second the ailment is really just a cold. Whatever Elias really has, the Post says he's "slightly hoarse."
I love how the Devils wait for one of their few offensive weapons to get injured before they get into a shootout with Ottawa.
My pet theory is that Elias took his friend Cameron's dad's car into the city to blow off some steam. That's just me, though.

Whatever happens tonight in Vancouver, Dallas fans pretty much have to agree that Stars goalie Marty Turco isn't the playoff albatross they've long complained he is. Three shutouts in the series so far? A lot of Stars fans seemed pretty convinced they'd watch the end of the series with Mike Smith in goal.
Tonight, Turco has the chance to finally change the book on himself.
